Managed Firewall Service: Overview
Can be purchased with a Rise Network Solution - An optional additive service to Virtual Dedicated Firewalls, the service includes full setup, configuration and management so you don’t have to worry about administering the firewall yourself. If you feel you do not have the skill set or time in house, or are very serious about security this service allows pass configuration and management over to our team of expert Network Engineers.
Bulk Data Transfer Service: Overview
Can be purchased with any physical and virtual server(s) An optional additive service enabling large quantities of data to be transferred to the Rise data center via removable drive(s).
Upon request a Rise approved drive (2TB) will be dispatched, upon receipt data can be transferred to the drive (via eSATA/USB2.0) and encrypted with the software provided on the drive (Truecrypt). The drive will then be couriered back to the Rise data center where it will be placed within the appropriate Network Solution, allowing the data to be unencrypted and transferred at high speed to any server within the Virtual Private Cloud.
Advanced Server Monitoring: Overview
Can be purchased with any physical and virtual server(s) - An optional and additive tool for all servers, the product requires a small SNMP based software agent to be installed on all servers that are to be monitored and a web based portal allows configuration of rules and alerts which are desired to be triggered. This gives peace of mind that should the server or application go down, you will be notified, can inform your customers and can work on resolving the fault. (We have partnered with ScienceLogic to provide this solution to our partners)
