Choose from a mixture of Virtual and Physical servers to provide compute infrastructure that best suit your requirements.
Rise builds its virtual servers on its award winning hyper-V based platform, giving high performance and flexibility at an affordable price.
Storage to the virtual platform is delivered from our fully redundant NetApp Storage Area Network (SAN).
Rise Network Solutions include the following components and optional services:
Virtual Servers (VS)
Delivered from our award winning Hyper-V based virtual platform. A dedicated server running its own operating system on shared physical hardware.
Customised configurations of resources can be chosen (RAM, CPU and Storage) along with multiple IP addresses. Each server can be deployed in the chosen tier of the Network Solution and configured and managed by remote desktop connection* (VPN/Firewall rules permitting).
Data transfer is unlimited and 100Mbps bandwidth is available to the internet.
Physical Servers (PS)
A dedicated server running its own operating system on individual physical hardware. Six models with varying configurations of resources can be chosen (RAM, CPU and Direct Storage) along with multiple IP addresses. Each server can be deployed in the chosen tier of the Network Solution and configured and managed by remote desktop connection (VPN/Firewall rules permitting). Data transfer is unlimited and 100Mbps bandwidth is available to the internet.
Storage
Rise utilises a NetApp based Storage Area Network (SAN) to provide storage for the virtual server platform. A High Availability NetApp production cluster is deployed in each data center with a replication array in the alternate data center. Each SAN has disk redundancy (N+2) and utilises built in RAID DP.
